Mission
Serve the Block™ is a Kansas City–based nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting underserved neighborhoods and low-income families through community outreach and support. We host local block party events that provide free hot meals, food pantry items, hygiene kits, clothing, and access to essential community resources such as housing, healthcare, and employment connections.
Our mission is to meet people where they are, fostering unity, inclusion, and compassion across Kansas City communities. Through food assistance, neighborhood outreach, and volunteer engagement, we help restore dignity, build trust, and meet real needs with care.
